The WaSPP network is supporting a number of capacity building activities. These includes:

• mentorship placements to allow researchers to gain interdisciplinary skills to advance wastewater surveillance capacity

• training in infectious disease modelling

• webinars on protocol implementation, software development, modelling for wastewater surveillance
